INFORMATION ON SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM
The Scientific Program will consist of Lectures, Round Table Sessions, Free Paper Sessions, Poster presentations, Satellite Symposium and Lectures.
Abstract Sessions
Each abstract will be presented orally as a free paper session or as a poster.
Oral presentations
Technological equipment will be at the disposal of the authors, in order to present their abstract. The duration of each presentation will be determined soon.
Posters
- A room will be allocated for the poster presentations in the Congress Venue.
- Authors are kindly requested to affix their posters on the predetermined poster board which will be numbered according to the code number of their abstract.
- The code number of each abstract will have been placed on each poster board by the Organizer.
- Authors are kindly requested to prepare the full title of their abstract, the names of authors and co-authors, as well as the institutes / hospitals they work for.
- All material needed for the poster affixing will be provided to authors by the Congress Secretariat which will be operating at the Congress Venue.
- Authors are responsible for affixing and dismantling their posters at the predetermined date and time. The Organizing Committee has no responsibility in case of destruction, loss or theft after the scheduled time of dismantling.
- ATTENTION: For the final approval of the abstract the registration of all authors is required.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Everyone who is interested in presenting an abstract, is kindly requested to submit it by post, courier or e-mail and no later than March 15th 2009 to the Congress Secretariat:

GUIDELINES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ABSTRACTS
- The text should not exceed 200 words in total. The authors are kindly requested to select Times New Roman (11cpi).
- The abstract title should be written in upper case.
- The authors’ names should be written in lower case. Family name should be mentioned first and then the given name fully written.
- Presenter’s name should be underlined.
- The name of the Institute / Hospital of the authors should be mentioned, as well as the city in lower case. Address should not be written
- The name of the Institute / Hospital of the authors should not be mentioned in the text of the abstract.
- Only one space should be left between Title, Authors, Institute of Authors and text.
- Each abstract should be structured as follows: Introduction, Aim, Material and Methods, Results and Conclusions.
- The text may include standard abbreviations, tables and diagrams.
- Any kind of changes, amendments or corrections will not be accepted after the abstract has been submitted.
- The abstract text should be in English or Greek
- Abstracts submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
- Abstracts sent by fax will not be accepted.
- Receipt of each abstract should be followed by the relevant “Confirmation of receipt”. In Case you don’t receive the confirmation, please contact the Congress Secretariat.
- Abstracts without contacts or with phrases as “results will be discussed” or “facts will be presented” etc. will not be accepted.
- In case you submit your abstract by post, please enclose your abstract electronically in CD or diskette.
